1 - Men’s Outlaw Skim Boarder Michael La Macchia dominated his field of riders at the Canadian Nationals, with the top run taking home 1st in his division. Wakesurfing out of Tampa, Florida Michael also placed 2nd in Men’s Outlaw Surf.
2 - Women’s Pro Skim riders Jodi Grassman and Caroline Villeneuve share a moment before heading into competition at the Canadian Nationals. Villeneuve won a close final heat over Grassman by a score of 100.1 to 99.0, both runs were top scores of the day.
3 - This image of Dominic Lagace shows how tough the waters were against eight other riders in Men’s Pro Skim, with the most competitors in one division all riders had to lay down everything they had on their wakes to battle for top podium position.
4 - Drew Danielo had the best scores out of any rider on the day, capturing 1st in Men’s Pro Skim, Danielo was the most electric rider to watch. Laying down all his tricks earned him top scores both days of competition.
5 - At this years Canadian Nationals, Calabogie was honored to have one of the Women’s top Pro Surf riders Ashley Kidd. Making her way from hometown of Austin, Texas, Kidd and three other competitors made up the first women’s pro surf division at the Canadian Nationals.
6 - Keenan Flegel Is one of the top Surf and Skim riders on the World Series of Wake Surfing Tour. Flegel took home 3rd in Skim and put up a 26 point lead to take 1st in Surf at the Canadian Wake Surf Nationals.
7 - There were 44 pieces of hardware to be handed out during the three day Canadian Wake Surf National championships at Calabogie, Ontario, Canada.
