Inland Surfer Sweet Spot Ultra - Review

September 16, 2016

What a sweet, sweet, board!  The Sweet Spot Ultra has a beautiful full carbon fiber finish that is sure to impress!  Not only does the carbon finish look amazing but it also adds strength to the board allowing you to place this high-performance board in your board rack and not worry about dents or dings.  Under the carbon fiber there is a EPS foam core with wrapped PVC and two t-stringers for even more added strength, durability, and rail to rail speed.

A feature that is unique in the wake surf world to Inland Surfer is the Tri-Tech fin boxes which give you total control of your fin placement.  This allows you to put your fins in one of three positions. Moving your fins forward will allow you to release the tail easier for spins and further back will give you a tighter ride down the line.  For 2017, Inland Surfer has introduced 7 different color ways in their 12 different surf style fin options. These are available for upgrades on your board to customize it to the colors you like.  Included with the board, is the black 9mm Standard fins.

On the bottom of the board you will notice there is good rocker in the nose of the board to help with not pearling the nose. Also, as you work your way to the tail you will see the Step-Tech construction between the fins. This helps to improve down the line speed and makes it easier to break the bottom of the board loose off the water allowing you to bust out airs with more magnitude!

On the deck of the board you will notice the cut out spots on the traction in the center which allows you to customize the feel of the board beneath your feet. The Sweet Spot comes standard with black raised and flat arch bars depending on what feels best for you. New for 2017 Inland Surfer has introduced colored arch pads for you to customize the top of your board with too!

This is a great board to have in your quiver and a great next step to help you elevate your wake surfing game to new heights… literally!
