We caught up with an emerging wake surf grom Ford Chupik to find out a little more about him and what inspires his style of riding.
I'm 14 years old born and raised in Austin, Texas. I ride goofy stance on my Shred Stixx custom. Currently I'm riding for Shred Stixx and Slayshtank. I don't know what comps I'm doing this year I will probably hit up some of the tour stops but for now I'm just surfing. Many people inspire me. The most influential surfers for me are Dane Reynolds and Craig Anderson. Kai Neville is one of my biggest inspirations as well. For me he is one of the best surf film makers of all time. He did Lost atlas and Dear Suburbia which are two of my favorites. About the ballast. What I usually do is try to make a wave that represents the ocean as best as possible.
